Einat Haim
Systemic Family Psychotherapist (MA), AFT, UKCP
Working with individuals, couples, parents and families to explore family dynamics, communication patterns and family scripts. Experienced with neurodiversity, conflict resolution and multi-heritage families, including relationships following immigration and relocation.
I am a fully accredited and experienced systemic family psychotherapist. I work with individuals (childen, teens and adults), couples, parents and families.
I work in the NHS's CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) as well as privately.
Life transitions, such as adolescence, parenthood, trauma, divorce or loss, bring challenges to relationships and alter family dynamics. In sessions, I explore these challenges through the multiple needs of family members and how best to support them.
Working systemically with families allows the various voices of all members to be heard and understood; it sheds light on how communication and dynamics affect different family members. I build on the person and family's strengths to set goals and create the needed support.
You can find out more about systemic family therapy on the Association of Family Therapy (AFT) website: www.aft.org.uk
I am experienced in working with couples, parents and families on conflicts and communication patterns and how these affect family life.
I work with neurodiversity, before and after diagnosis: I explore with families how neurodiversity is affecting the diagnosed person as well as other family members; take into account siblings and extended family; work with dual diagnosis; and with neuordiverse families.
I work with mixed-heritage and multi-cultural families to explore cultural gaps and clashes. I researched and work with families after relocation about crises of identity, belonging and generational conflicts.
I offer online sessions, face-to-face and a hybrid of both.
