Counselling can help you see things from a different perspective, changing the way you think and behave; helping you make a positive impact in your life. I will support you in making sense of the thoughts and feelings that are distressing you, gaining insights into issues from the past or present, exploring options, developing strategies, and increasing your self-awareness.I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Bacp). As well as my private practice, I have worked with several charities, including: Signpost, Mind, Age UK, and Rape Crisis, on an individual and group basis.
I have gained extensive experience working with both young people and adults presenting with issues such as: anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, relationship issues, abuse, trauma, bereavement, living with a disability or disorder and carers supporting loved ones suffering from a range of physical and mental health conditions.
I can offer short or long-term Counselling on an individual basis, face to face, online or via telephone. Sessions will be 50 minutes at an agreed time and day, with an initial assessment to discuss your needs and whether working together is right for you.
